I decided to rehome some battery hens who have taken up residence at Hall Farm . This is Katherine, and we also have Florence , Martha, Agnes and Sibyl.  They are a constant source of entertainment and I enjoy watching them strut and scratch around the paddock but best of all are their delicious eggs.  They have recently discovered that they can escape and it feels like a version of mission impossible as they walk along the wall and across the wooden field gate to get to pastures new.
